S58 is a highly versatile PVC resin, produced by suspension technology and suitable for all rigid applications that require easy-to-transform products. Where do we find S58 resin?
At home
It is used to manufacture items such as drains, drain drawers, baseboards and wires. It is also found in rigid laminates, floors and surfaces with an opaque or clear finish.
In the pharmacy and supermarket
Due to its excellent resistance and malleability, the material is widely used to manufacture laminates for opaque and clear drug blisters, packages and bottles.
In the industry
It’s an excellent option for the production of rigid connections for civil construction, as well as for high-resistant tubes and packages.
E58 resin properties
Application methods: alendering, extrusion, extrusion-blow moulding and injection.
Chain size 57* (k value), low molecular weight and low porosity.
Good thermal stability, initial color and low tendency to form non-gelified stains.
It can be mixed with other Unipar products.
