Unipar is committed to energy efficiency and the transition to clean energy, investing in solar and wind energy, and has goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reaching Net Zero in 2050.

We are striving to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable world through initiatives such as investing in wind and solar farms, adopting targets for renewable energy self-sufficiency and carbon emission reductions, and establishing partnerships with academia to develop innovative approaches to energy efficiency.

Unipar met its goal of sourcing 100% of the electricity consumed by its Brazilian plants from renewable sources by 2025. The company also surpassed its global target of reaching 60% renewable electricity within the same timeframe, achieving a 79% share of renewable electricity across its global operations.

This strategy was made possible through partnerships with renewable energy generators, focused on the self-production of electricity in Brazil.
