Hydrochloric acid is formed by the burning of chlorine and hydrogen, both

generated by brine electrolysis. Once burnt, the hydrogen chloride (gas) formed is absorbed in water, where Hydrochloric Acid is obtained, with a concentration of approximately 37%.
